During my years as postgraduate student at Bangor University I was chairman of the then RSF - Research Students Forum. In this role I co-ordinated the annual interdisciplinary postgraduate conference, Beyond Boundaries, a much appreciated opportunity to share experiences, methods and ideas beyond our immediate subject specialities.
