Healing Art Festival Forum

Back in 2004 I had the pleasure in co-creating an event which symbolises One Reality and the way which human's creativity is far more than 'art for art's sake'. Working with artists, teachers and healing art practitioners from a wide range of art forms, our day's forum explored the healing potential of art. The event was a strong reminder of the powerful creative life-force within us and the extent to which our minds respond to the opportunity to transcend their usual rational modes.

The original intent, to develop a Healing Art Festival based on the experiences of the Forum, did not materialise due to my move to Portugal at the time. The Forum still, however, reflects the possibilities and potential of the essential 'healing artist' within us and what can happen when kindred spirits share their imagination andcommitment.

The Forum was supported by a grant from SEFAN
